Description
When it comes to an introduction to regional Jewish history, the Jewish Museum of Maryland is the destination of choice, a facility that includes two synagogues (B'nai Israel and Lloyd Street) and a museum dedicated to fostering education and understanding of Jewish life in this northern state. On show from the permament collection is a selection of old photographs, historic documents, period clothing, art, memorabilia and other assorted artifacts from Maryland's early Jewish population.
