Aptly named Ocean City is, in fact, a city by the ocean, though that is to understate the summer popularity of this beach retreat, which also happens to be boardwalk, bikini-clad crowd and lively bar endowed.
The 174 site campground is open all year. There are no electrical or water hookups available. There are hot showers, bathroom facilities and a dump station available to registered campers. $13.00 per night $6.50 for Golden Age or Golden Access card holders.
Additional amenities include dump station, campfire circle, group campground and pay telephone.
Trails, playgrounds, and wildlife are found to be relaxing and refreshing for visiting urbanites. Nights are usually quiet.
