Industry as it was in centuries past may be virtually nothing like it is today - people power replaced in part by modern technology, but visitors to the Baltimore Museum of Industry can get a glimpse at least of how far America has come through this facility's permanent exhibits. Learn about the history of "upper" and "lower" case in the museum's Print Shop, the birth of Baltimore's oft used "son", the umbrella, in the Garment Loft, see a recreation of a 1910 pharmacy and enjoy river views along with notable innovations from bygone Baltimore days in the Decker Gallery as you explore this unique exhibit space.
